Tours: listed from Viator, booked on Viator
Every tour on this site — currently 477of them — is a live listing from Viator, a TripAdvisor company, for the Mykonos destination. The titles, descriptions, photos, "from" prices, ratings and review counts are Viator's, captured when we last synchronised the catalogue. We never edit a rating, invent a review or add urgency that the listing does not carry.
What we add is organisation: categories that reflect how people actually choose (sailing, Delos, beach hopping, sunset, food, jeep days, transfers), area tagging so an Ornos page shows tours that mention Ornos, and honest editorial about what each kind of tour is like.
When you click "Check availability" you leave for Viator, where dates, prices and cancellation terms are live and the booking is completed. We may earn a commission on bookings made through our links; the price you pay is the same as booking on Viator directly. Outbound links are marked as sponsored.
Hotels and restaurants: editorial, unpaid
The hotel and restaurant guides are short by design — a curated shortlist across areas, styles and budgets rather than a directory. Nobody pays to be listed, and we earn nothing from these pages. Each entry links only to the venue's own website, and facts such as facilities, cuisine and seasonality are limited to what the venue itself publishes, with the date we last checked shown on the page.
We do not yet have a hotel booking partner. Hotel pages show no rates and no availability. If a partner such as Booking.com is added in future, the link will be clearly labelled as an affiliate link on every page where it appears — the site is built so that can happen without disguising it.
Events: official sources only
The events calendar lists feasts, public holidays and festival weeks that can be traced to an official organiser, municipality, church calendar or ticket seller. Each entry shows its status — recurring, confirmed or tentative — and the date we last verified it. When an organiser has not published dates, we say "dates coming soon" rather than guess. All times are Europe/Athens.
Photos
Every photograph on the site is a real photo from the tour listing it appears with, served from Viator's media network under our partner integration. We do not use stock imagery or AI-generated pictures, and we do not borrow a tour photo to stand in for a beach, hotel or restaurant we have no photograph of — those pages are deliberately typographic instead.
Who we are
MykonosTours.com is an independent, remotely edited travel-planning site. We are not based on Mykonos and do not claim local operation; our value is in careful research, transparent sourcing and organisation, not in a shopfront on the harbour. Where we are uncertain, we say so.
