Kiki's has become famous for what it lacks: there is no electricity, so everything is grilled over charcoal and the drinks come from a cooler, and there is no phone, so nobody can book. You walk up from Agios Sostis, give your name, and wait under the trees with a glass of wine until a table frees up.
The menu is short — grilled pork, chicken, fish of the day, and a spread of salads chalked on a board. It suits a lazy beach day on the north coast better than a planned dinner; pair it with a swim at Agios Sostis, one of the few undeveloped beaches left on the island.
What it does well
- Charcoal grill
- Salads and mezze
- Shaded terrace over the sea
- A genuine no-frills island lunch
